I’m mostly caught up with Project Life now (save for a few weeks…) and was able to quickly work on the Halloween spread for Project Life. Here’s week 44.
I think watercolor is going to be seen a lot in my layouts from now on. I picked up some pearlescent watercolors at Michaels this week and gave them a go with these 4×6 Project Life cards from Heidi Swapp (also at Michaels).
The best part, it’s not perfect.
Recently I came upon a song on youtube called I’m a Cat Check Meowt and thought it was perfect for the layout, since Rylie went as a cat.
Beck Higgins has a lovely mini kit for Halloween that I decided to purchase digitally and download. Unfortunately my printer shrunk the card a bit when I printed it out, but hey, it still works!
This yes no please check one card was from a Studio Calico monthly kit. I believe it was the October kit, but don’t quote me on that!
I think I’ve been waiting to use this BOO rhinestone sticker for YEARS. I bet you I’ve had it for about 4 years now. Maybe more. Anyways, it was time to finally use it. She’s not scary in the least…LOL.
Again, I decided to go for really simple elements and techniques. I hate when things are overdone and cluttered, and it was easy for me to complete this layout without feeling like I was spending hours on it.
